Fireplaces & interiors
Step into a world of warmth. For JDB Fireplaces & Interiors, we created an identity that captures the essence of fire, not as a product, but as an experience. Warm fires, slow living is more than just a slogan, it’s a way of life. It reflects how we approach design, and how JDB approaches their craft.
The brief: translate JDB’s refined craftsmanship and high-end positioning into a brand that feels as timeless and understated as their fireplaces. Avoid excess, and use clear, tactile language that speaks through material, atmosphere, and detail.
We started from the core of the brand: fire as a source of warmth, connection, and tranquillity. It is not loud or expressive, but calm and essential. This became the basis for a visual identity that feels soft, architectural, and balanced.
Each element is reduced to its essence, creating space for the material to speak.
We chose a restrained colour palette, natural tones, and subtle contrasts to reflect the materials which JDB works with. Even the smallest touchpoint contributes to the overall feeling of warmth, calm, and intention.
We approached the printed matter as an extension of the brand itself. We adopted a refined, minimal, and sensory approach. When we designed the business cards, brochures, and packaging, our focus was firmly on texture and materiality. We used soft paper, subtle embossing and carefully chosen finishes to create a quiet sense of luxury.
Small sparks can
ignite great fires.
For the opening of the new showroom, we translated the brand into a physical experience, an atmosphere built around fire and gathering. The invitation was not aimed at private clients, but at a carefully selected group of architects: a conscious step into a colder market JDB had not approached before. Guests received a refined invitation, a box containing a single match, carrying a clear message: “New sparks inside. Small sparks can ignite great fires.” Delivered personally, it became the starting point of the experience. With The Perfect Match as the guiding concept, it was an invitation to connect and build long-term collaborations. The response validated this strategy: the right architects attended, conversations were meaningful, and the leads proved highly qualitative. Small sparks can indeed ignite great fires.
A quiet celebration of
togetherness
For the Christmas campaign, we focused on intimacy and recognition. It wasn’t festive in the traditional sense, but warm, human, and understated.
It featured soft light, subtle gestures, and everyday moments, such as a child playing, a quiet living space and a fireplace glowing in the background. We captured these familiar scenes with restraint and sensitivity.
‘Warm fires, slow living’ is more than a slogan, it’s a way of life. It’s about finding peace in simplicity and celebrating the beauty in each crafted detail. It’s about living intentionally. We embrace a slower pace to savour what truly matters: connection, tranquillity, and the joy of shared moments. Our fireplaces are not just functional – they are the soul of the room, inviting you to slow down and linger.
Our seasonal campaigns followed the same philosophy. From end-of-year moments to quieter, intimate occasions, the communication remained consistent – warm, understated, and human.
A consistent visual language
We extended the identity into a curated social media presence, comprising a feed built around atmosphere, material, and rhythm. Close-ups of textures, soft light, and quiet moments alternate with architectural views and product details. This visual language reflects the same values of calm, refinement, and intention.
The entire project is driven by feeling, not by trends. By connecting, not by selling. We worked throughout from a place of restraint, where less noise means more presence.
Nothing staged. Everything felt.
Things also moved at a slower pace behind the scenes. Instead of strict staging, we allowed moments to happen through their own natural rhythm, such as children passing, a dog settling down and objects finding their place organically. Nothing was staged and everything was felt.
